Aprilia has launched the Shiver 900 and Dorsoduro 900 in India at an introductory price of Rs. 11,99,000 (ex-showroom, Pune) and Rs. 12,50,000 (ex-showroom, Pune), respectively.
These are introductory prices, which will be valid till the stock lasts or 30th June (whichever is earlier), after which the prices will be revised to Rs. 13,32,930 (ex-showroom, Pune) for the Shiver 900 and Rs. 13,83,652 (ex-showroom, Pune) for the Dorsoduro 900.
Both the motorcycles are powered by an 896cc, V-twin 4st engine, capable of producing 95.2 hp at 8,750 rpm and 90 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.
Even though both the motorcycles feature the same teel-tube trellis frame as well as the same 41mm Kayaba upside-down suspension up front and an adjustable mono-shock suspension at the rear. Shiver 900 has a maximum front wheel travel of 120mm and a rear wheel travel of 130mm. While the Dorsoduro 900 gets 160mm wheel travel at front and rear.
Both the motorbikes come equipped with twin, 320mm floating discs up front with radial four-piston Brembo calipers and a single, 240mm disc at rear with a single-piston Brembo caliper. Dual channel ABS is also standard equipment on both the bikes.
Aprilia Shiver 900 and Dorsoduro 900 will be available exclusively at Piaggio’s MotoPlex showrooms in Pune, Chennai, Kochi, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
