With more and more people live streaming videos on social networking sites like Facebook and YouTube, the demand for phones with good front facing cameras has gone up. Asus is hoping to address this niche market, with its newly launched, Zenfone Live in India.
What sets Zenfone Live apart from other smartphones is the BeautyLive app that is bundled with the Zenfone Live, which lets you beautify your live stream video and broadcast it on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram i.e. your live videos will appear blemish free!
There are dual MEMS microphones with noise cancellation to help you filter out background noise and the 5-megapixel front facing camera comes with an extra-large sensor size for clearer photos in low light, soft flash, and 82-degree wide field of view.
There is a 13-megapixel pixel master camera at the rear with f2.0 aperture and LED Flash.
Powering the Zenfone Live is a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor, Adreno 305 GPU with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB.)
5-inch 2.5D curve IPS display of Zenfone Live has a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and the phone comes with ZenUI 3.5, which runs on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
There is also smart amp with DTS Headphone:X audio feature, which lets you create 7.1 channel surround sound experience with headphones.
The battery is a bit on the smaller side with 2650mAh capacity, though Asus is claiming it can deliver up to 471 hours of standby time and 16 of talk time.
