BMW India has launched the X1 sDrive20i xLine in India at the price of Rs. 35.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi.)
Powered by a 2.0-liter four cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, X1 sDrive20i xLine produces max power of 191 hp at 5,000 rpm and 280 Nm of torque at 1,250-4,600 rpm. The engine is mated to a ZF eight-speed gearbox with paddle shifters.
The petrol SAV looks the same as its diesel counterparts. However, it comes equipped with LED headlamps, daytime running lamps and tail lamps. While the tail pipe is finished in chrome and bumper lip gets an aluminium finish.
X1 sDrive20i X-Line supports 18-inch alloy wheels with run flat tyres and an iDrive system with a 6.5-inch screen.
ABS with brake assist, cornering brake control, dynamic stability control, traction control and launch control come as standard equipment on the xLine.
India’s luxury car and SUV market have historically favoured the diesel variants more, hence sDrive20i xLine is the only variant of BMW X1, which comes with a petrol engine. While the diesel option in X1 has 3 variants; xDrive20d, sDrive and sDrive20d xLine.
