Gul Panag, first Indian woman to drive Formula E racing car!

Adventure and Automobiles it seems comes easy to Gul Panag. Not too long ago, she had driven a Mahindra Scorpio Getaway to Ladakh. And now she has become the first Indian woman to drive a Formula E racing car on a race track!

Gul Panag drove Mahindra Racing’s all new M4Electro at the Circuit de Calafat in Catalonia, Spain for 6 laps of the circuit.

Formula E is FIA’s electric car racing championship and Mahindra Racing has been actively participating in it.

The racing car Gul Panag drove is an M4Electro from Mahindra Racing and as per Gul Panag, it is an “e2oPlus on steroids!”

Speaking to the media after completing the laps on M4Electro, Gul Panag, said, “I feel privileged to know that I am amongst very few people in the world, including the motorsport world, to drive this car on what is only its second outing. The M4Electro is supercharged and feels like the e2oPlus on steroids! The powertrain and the speed of delivery did not take me by surprise because I am already familiar with EV technology, having driven the e2oPlus for a while now. With the M4 Electro, Mahindra has also proved that it is well ahead of the curve when it comes to transportation and is thus, well positioned to shape the future of mobility. In fact, I felt like I was driving the future!”

Earlier known as Reva, e2oPlus is Mahindra’s electric car and Gul Panag is a proud owner of it.
