Mahindra Scorpio in its current avatar has been with us since 2014, now Mahindra and Mahindra is working on the third generation Scorpio, expected to be launched in India soon.
The third generation Mahindra Scorpio was spotted testing in Karnataka and under the camouflaged exteriors. It seems to support an updated front and rear end.
Mahindra and Mahindra are also rumored to be working on a brand new 2.2-liter mHawk engine, which is expected to produce 140 hp, 20 more than the current, second generation Scorpio. While there is no word yet on max torque the third generation Mahindra Scorpio would produce, it is expected to be more than that of the current Scorpio.
We certainly hope that apart from a facelift and a more powerful engine, Mahindra and Mahindra is also planning to make Scorpio safer for the average buyer and introduce ABS and airbags as standard equipment, throughout the range.
