Redmi 4 launched in India

Xiaomi has launched Redmi 4 in India today, at a price of Rs. 6,999 for the 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage variant. While the 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variant is priced at Rs. 8,999 and 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant is priced at Rs. 10,999.

Redmi 4 comes with a 5” 1280 x 720-pixel screen with Corning Gorilla Glass Protection.

It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, capable of shooting 1080p video, while the front-facing 5-megapixel camera comes with f/2.2 aperture. Neither of the camera feature hardware or digital image stabilization.

Redmi 4’s real claim to fame is a large 4100 mAh battery, which as per Xiaomi, is enough to last 2 days of heavy usage!

All variants of Redmi 4 have Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor, clocked at 1.4GHz and Adreno 505 GPU.

Redmi 4 is a dual SIM hybrid device, meaning you can either use 2 SIMs or 1 SIM and expand the storage with a microSD card (up to 128GB). Though it is best to just spend a little more and get the 3GB/32GB variant and not worry about storage.

Redmi 4 would be on flash sale at Amazon and you can click here to register for the sale.
