As we had reported earlier, Mahindra and Mahindra is currently working on the third generation Scorpio with a 140 hp engine (click here to read more about it) and rumors are rife about the automatic version being reintroduced when the third generation Scorpio is launched in the market.

The third generation Scorpio could get the updated 6-speed automatic transmission, currently in use in the XUV500 automatic.
For now, Scorpio with manual transmission, including the 2.5-liter BSIII m2DICR will be available for sale and test drive in their respective regions.
