Vivo India has launched the Vivo V7+ smartphone in India at a price of Rs. 21,990.
Powered by a Qualcomm 1.8GHZ Octa-Core SDM450 chipset (first in India) with Adreno 506 GPU, the Vivo V7+ features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further increased to up to 256GB using dedicated microSD expansion slot.
However, the real claim to fame for the Vivo V7+ is the 24 Megapixel front facing camera with selfie soft light (the front screen works as a soft flash for low light selfies), add to that, the front facing camera also has an aperture of f2.0.
The rear camera too is no slouch and comes with a 16 Megapixel sensor and f2.0 aperture.
V7+ has really thin bezels and metal unibody design, making the phone easy to hold and handle, despite the 5.99” screen size. The screen resolution though is a disappointment with 1440 x 720 pixel display, translating into 269ppi.
Considering the phone is being marketed with a high megapixel camera, the absence of even a full HD screen in a phone costing Rs. 21,990 seems like an odd thing in 2017.
On the plus side, this should translate into a better battery backup. The battery capacity btw is 3225mAh and despite the large screen size, the phone weighs just 160gm.
The phone is powered by Funtouch OS 3.2, based on Android 7.1 and also features a finger print scanner and face unlock feature along with AK4376A Hifi chipset for better sound reproduction.
Vivo V7+ will be available at stores across India from 15th of September and can also be prebooked on Amazon India, by clicking here.
